I love a clean house, but the kitchen is where I want to keep it cleanest. We are in the kitchen a lot!
We gather together to eat, cook and complete our tasks. homeschool Work, all in the Kitchen. I am a busy mom who works and goes to school full-time. I need my kids to help me with chores. Our days are often quite busy and crazy. The kitchen is one of the first things you see when you enter your home.

Materials Required for DIY Chore chart
- Baking Pans
- Black Chalk Paint
- Small Buttons
- Magnets
- Ribbon
- Chalk Paint Marker
- Paint Brushes

- You will first need to paint your baking pans using the chalkboard paint. Let it dry. I started with a sponge and then painted over it with regular paintbrush. It will need a second coat, so I’d let it dry at least 24 hours.

- Second, you’ll drill two holes into the top of the pans to secure them for hanging later.
- Third, you’ll need to write the various chores that you have selected on the pins/buttons.

- After the paint is dry, attach the buttons to the board using magnets.
- Finally, using the chalk paint marker, draw two columns: “To Do” and “Done” with his or her name on the top.

How do you know? What age is appropriate to do chores?? Do not be afraid to assign your children household chores from an early age. Start with simple chores that include a Vacuum or mop.
My girls are now able to sweep, using a vacuum cleaner, Cleaning the microwave and counters, loading the dishwasher and unloading it, organizing the food pantry, and finally hand washing pots & pans.
You will soon be teaching your children. kids how to clean bathrooms.
I think it is important to teach my children household chores. These are essential life skills, especially if your child is going to college. college And live on their own.
