Raising our kids is so much fun. Every day, we try to make new memories with our children. You could say that every smile is important to me. Here are a few tips on how to make each smile worth it.
Be nice to each other
We have a rule in the house that we only say nice words about each other. It’s easy to become grumpy after a long day at work or school. It’s worth it to put in the extra effort to be nice. It’s worth it when someone smiles at you after you say something kind, especially if they are in your family.
Encourage and Be Nearby
When my kids get home from the school, they are always hungry or tired. Plus, they do not always look forward to homework. I encourage them every step of the way and close by if they need me. I also make sure to have a snack ready for them at home. Pepperidge Farm Goldfish With Whole Grain Cream Cheese You can also call this by its other name Goldfish Colors Cheese. These snacks will make your smile.
Make Memories No Matter What
If you read my blog daily, you’ll know that my main goal is to create memories with my kids. Recently, we visited Florida. We have many big and small plans for our family in the coming weeks. The smiles of my children after we have done an awesome thing with them make it all worthwhile.
Spend Time Together
When my children smile after spending time with me, it’s worth the effort. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my children smile. Spending time with a child doesn’t require you to spend a lot or do crazy activities. We love playing games or coloring together! We enjoy playing board games together or watching our favorite TV shows. No matter what I am doing, spending time with my kids makes me smile.
Make Every Moment Count
Our schedule is just as busy as yours. We always strive to make every second matter. When you make every second count, every smile is worth it. Make every moment count, whether you’re singing in your car or dancing in the parking lot. Life moves so fast, don’t let moments slip by. I believe that smiles are a sign of a happy life. My children’s smiles and their happiness make it all worthwhile. Parents go to extreme lengths to make sure their children are happy. But we can all agree that their smiles were worth it.
